Privacy-first approach: Nored Ventures LLC builds products intended to limit unnecessary data collection. No-Red Budget App is a local-first budget planner with no bank login, no No-Red budget account required for budgeting, and no Nored Ventures cloud budget sync in the current version.

Information stored locally by No-Red Budget App

Budget items, income, bills, expenses, imported rows, categories, notes, household labels, selected months, settings, themes, reminders, fuel estimates, and generated targets are stored locally on the device or browser in the current version. Supported CSV, TSV, TXT, JSON, OFX, and QFX files are processed locally. The current version does not upload original budget files or budget entries to Nored Ventures servers.

No bank login or budget account

No-Red Budget App does not request bank credentials, connect to bank accounts, or require a No-Red budget account. Paid Web/PWA access verification does not give Nored Ventures access to local budget entries.

Direct Web/PWA checkout and U.S. eligibility

Direct No-Red Budget App Web/PWA checkout is currently limited to customers located in the United States who provide a U.S. billing address. Netlify may derive a country code from the visitor's internet connection to decide whether checkout can begin. This is an approximate IP-based country check, not precise GPS tracking.

Stripe collects and processes checkout information such as email address, payment method details, billing address, transaction amount, payment status, receipt information, and fraud-prevention signals according to Stripe's privacy policy. Nored Ventures does not collect or store full payment card numbers.

The current checkout authorizes an eligible payment before capture. The server verifies the expected product, amount, currency, payment status, and U.S. billing country. If the purchase is ineligible, the authorization is canceled rather than captured. A buyer's bank may continue to display a temporary pending authorization until it is released.

Limited access and license records

To issue, restore, and recheck Web/PWA access, Nored Ventures may process limited payment and license information, including checkout email, Stripe Checkout Session, PaymentIntent or Charge identifiers, product marker, amount, currency, billing-country code, payment/refund/dispute status, and verification dates. Hashed lookup keys and limited license records may be stored with Netlify Blobs. These records do not include local budget entries or full card numbers.

Location used inside the app

Device location is optional and is requested only when the user chooses a supported location feature. In the Web/PWA, latitude and longitude may be sent directly to BigDataCloud's reverse-geocoding service to identify an approximate state/location profile for gas and cost-of-living planning. Nored Ventures does not use those coordinates for advertising or combine them with local budget entries. Users can deny access and choose a location profile manually. This optional feature is separate from the IP-based country eligibility check used for direct checkout.

Backups, exports, and Android device backup

Users control exported backups, transaction CSV files, and budget downloads, which may contain sensitive financial information. If Android device backup is enabled, Android or Google may back up supported app data according to the user's device and Google account settings. Nored Ventures does not operate that device-backup service.

Affiliate and third-party links

Clearly labeled affiliate or partner links may open an outside website. Nored Ventures may earn a commission from qualifying actions at no additional cost to the user. The third party or affiliate network may collect information under its own privacy policy. Review the Affiliate Disclosure before using affiliate resources.

Data sale and sharing

Nored Ventures does not sell No-Red Budget App budget entries. Limited payment, hosting, license/access, support, refund, dispute, and security information may be processed by service providers as needed to operate the website and paid Web/PWA access. If future versions add accounts, analytics, ads, crash reporting, cloud backup, or cloud sync, this policy and applicable app-store disclosures must be updated before release.

Security and retention limits

Local data security depends on the user's device, browser, operating system, screen lock, backups, and file handling. Payment and access records may be retained as reasonably necessary for access restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, refunds, disputes, legal obligations, and support.

Children and professional advice

No-Red Budget App is not directed to children. Nored Ventures products are planning, organization, workflow, or informational tools and are not financial, tax, legal, accounting, lending, credit-repair, debt-settlement, insurance, investment, code-compliance, or professional inspection advice.
