Privacy Policy for No-Red Budget App

Private by design: No-Red Budget App stores budget data locally on the user's device. It does not require bank login, cloud sync, or account creation.

Who we are

No-Red Budget App is a personal budgeting and planning app published by Nored Ventures. It helps users organize income, bills, expenses, gas estimates, due dates, paid status, and monthly budget targets using information the user enters or imports.

Data you enter or upload

The app may process budget items, income, bills, expenses, imported rows, categories, income types, priority labels, notes, user name or profile label, selected month, settings, themes, gas planning estimates, paid status, and generated budget targets. In this standalone local version, that information is stored in local storage on the device/browser where the app is used.

Files and imports

CSV, TSV, TXT, JSON, OFX, and QFX files are parsed in the app on the device. The app stores approved rows and import-review rows locally. Original files are not uploaded to a Nored Ventures server by this version.

Location

Location is optional. The app only requests device location when the user taps Use my location. Location is used to estimate a state/location profile for gas and cost-of-living planning. Users can deny location access and choose a state or location profile manually. This app does not use location for tracking, advertising, or account profiling.

No bank login, cloud sync, or account

No-Red Budget App does not ask for bank credentials, does not connect to bank accounts, does not require a user account, and does not sync budget data to Nored Ventures cloud servers in this version.

Bill reminders and paid status

No-Red Budget App may show optional in-app bill reminders and paid bill tracking when the app is opened. It does not provide background notification monitoring in this standalone version, and marking an item paid does not send a payment or connect to any biller, bank, or payment service.

Backups, exports, downloads, and reset

Users can export backups, transaction CSV files, and budget downloads. Exported files are controlled by the user and may contain financial information. Users should store backup files carefully. The Reset app data control clears locally stored app data on the current device after confirmation. No-Red Budget App cannot recover data after a reset unless the user separately exported and saved a backup.

Data sharing and sale

No-Red Budget App does not sell personal data. In this local-only version, No-Red Budget App does not transmit budget data to Nored Ventures servers for cloud processing. If a future version adds accounts, analytics, ads, crash reporting, cloud backup, or other online services, this policy and the app-store data disclosures must be updated before release.

Security limits

Local storage depends on the security of the user's device, browser, operating system, screen lock, backups, and file handling. Users should keep their device updated, use a secure lock screen, and protect exported backup files.
